Many suffer from type two diabetes, and the urge to find a cure instead of taking such a high intake of medicine to control it came across as something interesting to ask ChatGPT. I wanted to see how Artificial Intelligence (AI) could shed some light on the subject. And if ChatGPT was as good as many suggest!


I asked the question, ‘How can I cure my diabetes type 2 naturally?’ which seemed like a pretty straight forward question.


Managing type 2 diabetes naturally often involves lifestyle changes aimed at controlling blood sugar levels. Here are some strategies you can consider:


1.  Healthy Diet: Focus on a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Limit the intake of refined carbohydrates, sugary foods, and processed foods. There didn’t seem to be anything special in ChatGPT’s explanation. There was nothing new that I wasn’t already aware of. And I was thinking AI had all the answers LOL.


However, when I modified the question to deal with my slight doubt of, ‘Will losing weight rid me of diabetes?’, the response shed light. In other words, asking specific questions in an appropriate manner will enhance the outcome.


Losing weight can significantly improve or even reverse type 2 diabetes for many individuals, especially if the diabetes is related to being overweight or obese. Here's how weight loss can impact diabetes:

This explanation seemed to be key to improving insulin sensitivity to get rid of diabetes which made sense, and appears to be a worthy response from ChatGPT.


Therefore, my positioning over AI is that it is very good because making the appropriate question will help define reasonable doubt.


I'm going to have to sacrifice my eating disorder!
