My mother used to always tell me, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away!”
She wanted me to eat a well-balanced diet: three meals a day, and natural healthy food. God bless her. She is reaching ninety-six in a couple of months, so I’ve got to hand it to her, she is right.
Wealthiness comes down to healthiness, so while you are alive and whether you have committed to exercise or not, now might be the time to ponder over how you can improve your quality of life with the prospect of exploiting age. I mean, it doesn’t matter how much money you have got if you can’t enjoy life whilst living!
Regular, moderate activities, such as brisk walking, have been associated with increasing life expectancy by several years. For example, 150 minutes of exercise or more each week increased life expectancy by about 7 years over those who didn't do regular moderate exercise. Top-level sportspeople can live more than five years longer than the rest of the population, a study has found.
Some experts are now saying an average woman usually lives longer than a man. However, the ones who work-out an hour a day will add three hours of extra living to their lifespan. That means six hours exercise a week will pile on an extra 18 hours of life per week. If you work out on average 45 weeks of the year that equates to around 34 days of additional lifespan, and at the same time will improve your quality of life.
If you aren’t going to the gym or involved in sport then you shouldn’t waste anymore time; get going for longevity!
Have a great day!
