Traveling in April is a perfect choice for those who want to enjoy incredible destinations with pleasant weather and fewer tourists.

The beginning of autumn brings milder temperatures, stunning landscapes and more affordable prices, creating an ideal combination for those looking for a peaceful and quiet trip.
One of the best places to travel in April in Brazil is Ilha Grande island.
Ilha Grande, located on the Green Coast of Rio de Janeiro, is a tropical paradise and a perfect destination for those who want to travel in April. During this month, the weather is pleasant, there is less rain and there are fewer tourists, allowing you to enjoy the beaches and trails with more peace and quiet.
The island is famous for its beaches with crystal clear waters and preserved nature. Lopes Mendes Beach is one of the most beautiful in Brazil, with its fine white sand, ideal for those who want to relax or go surfing.

Another option is Praia do Aventureiro which has incredible landscapes and an iconic leaning palm tree.
For ecotourism lovers, the trails that cross the island offer spectacular views. The highlight is the trail to Pico do Papagaio, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the island and the ocean.

Ilha Grande is some 11.55 mile (18.6km) from Angra dos Reis, another incredible place to visit.
Angra dos Reis is a paradise with 365 islands with beautiful greenish colored seas, distinctive to the Costa Verde region. The main tourist attraction is Ilha Grande, the largest in the state of Rio de Janeiro, located 40 minutes by boat from the center of Angra dos Reis. One of the most beautiful beaches on the island is Lopes Mendes.
Additionally, Angra dos Reis isn’t far from Rio de Janeiro which is famous for its beaches, carnival, and natural beauty. It's also home to Christ, the Redeemer statue which is considered one of the 7 wonders of the world.
Incidentally, Brazil’s Rio Carnival in 2025 will begin on Friday, February 28th and end on Tuesday, March 4th.
All the best!
