Bangkok, Thailand

Holidaying is always great! One place everyone must go during their lifetime is Bangkok. Bangkok is a city and capital, and it is the chief port of Thailand. It is the only cosmopolitan city in a country of small towns and villages and is Thailand's cultural and commercial center.

Some unique things about Bangkok are: its vibrant culture, amazing street food, bustling nightlife, world-famous shopping malls and markets, historic temples and shrines, beautiful natural parks and gardens, incredible architecture, and much more. Bangkok is also known for its friendly people and welcoming atmosphere.

So, what makes Bangkok so special you may ask. Bangkok is a city of contrasts with action at every turn. The metropolis provides tourists with essential elements (especially 24-hour street food everywhere), diverse lifestyles and unique experiences.

There are many reasons to visit Bangkok which include being a home to so many stunning Buddhist Temples, the trains at Maek long Railway Market, famous floating markets, an easy visit to the Ayutthaya ruins, mouthwatering street food scene, fantastic city views, a day trip to the river Kwai, massages everywhere, and warm weather all year round. Really there is no need to carry a thick jacket ha-ha….

The floating markets in Bangkok are among the city's star attractions. Almost every traveler has a visit to at least one on their first trip here. The colors, chaos, flavors and atmosphere make it a unique experience, and the novelty of buying a snack from a passing boat takes some beating.

Bangkok is generally safe and welcoming for female solo travelers. Most locals are friendly, respectful, and willing to help. Street harassment, such as catcalling or unwanted attention, is relatively low compared to other major cities around the world.

This is a place you have to go to during your lifespan. Make sure you put it into your to-do (bucket list) list.

Have a great day!
