The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance is the first performance hybrid from Mercedes-AMG. It features Formula 1 technologies such as the AMG High Performance lithium-ion Battery and a high-performance braking system from AMG.

The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 stands out from other sports cars in several ways, including:

  • Performance

The GT 63 has a 4.0-liter V-8 engine with two turbochargers, direct injection, and dry-sump oiling. The GT 63 S model has 630 horsepower, while the GT 63 has 575 horsepower.

  • Hybrid option

The GT 63 S E Performance model has an electric motor and a 6.1 kW lithium-ion battery that can be used in all-electric mode. This model has a combined 805 horsepower and 1,047 pound-feet of torque.

  • Cooling

The GT 63 has an expanded cooling package with reinforced high- and low-temperature cooling circuits. This helps the drivetrain maintain optimal temperatures, even under increased load.

  • Aerodynamics

The GT 63 has an aerodynamic fine-tuning package that includes a redesigned front apron, active aerodynamic profile, and fixed rear wing.

  • Transmission

The GT 63 has a nine-speed automatic transmission with a clutch instead of a torque converter. This design is intended to reduce weight and improve response to accelerator input.

  • All-wheel drive

The GT 63 has all-wheel drive that can route 100% of the engine's output to the rear wheels.

  • Rear-wheel steering

The GT 63 has rear-wheel steering to help keep the car on its toes.

  • Nose-lift system

The GT 63 has an optional nose-lift system that can pop the front end up by 1.2 inches.

I think you’ll agree, it is an outstanding luxury performance car that will give hours of pleasure driving!

Take care!
