Abel Ferreira could be Brazil’s next international coach. The coach at Palmeiras has performed extraordinarily well since arriving at the São Paulo club in 2020. His club has won trophy after trophy and accomplished its best winning run ever. Hail Abel Ferreira!
On the other end of the spectrum, Tite’s exit to the changing rooms without as much as an acknowledgement to his players after losing on penalties to Croatia in the quarter final World Cup match, will go down in history as having the kind of attitude of an out and out loser.
Brazilian players deserve better, and in fact the nation is upset, not only for losing against Croatia, but also for not receiving the slightest care in the world from a sore loser who clearly couldn’t care a less for their morale.
The great thing about Abel is his innate ability to understand his players while caring for their greater good. In other words, he’s an evangelist about getting his team to better themselves and then collectively to transfer that energy to the pitch. He’s an all-out winner when it comes to helping those in his team reach absolute winning performance on and off the playing field. No wonder he’s up for grabbing!
Former teammate player who was Abel Ferreira's partner at Vitória de Guimarães in Portugal, met up with the current Palmeiras coach and made a statement that Abel will be Tite's replacement in the Brazilian national team according to Preto Casagrande who made a controversial post on social media. He guaranteed it, saying, "Good luck, Mister!"
Actually, the Palmeiras coach is one of the most likely to replace Tite in the Brazilian national squad that aims to win the next World Cup in 2026. The tournament will be jointly hosted by 16 cities in three North American countries. The United States will host 60 matches, including every match from the quarterfinals onward, while neighboring Canada and Mexico will each host 10 matches.
The official position of the CBF is that the choice of a new professional will only take place in January because the elimination of Brazil’s National Team from the World Cup is still quite recent and the end of year’s festivities will delay the definition process. The Brazilian Football Confederation’s (CBF) main objective is to lead, promote and encourage the sporting practice of football in Brazil.
Take care!
