Stuff you may have never known:
Having come from a family of four boys, I’m in the unique position to be able to compare living on the other side of the spectrum. Having two daughters and three granddaughters has given me the right to express my feelings.

Men possess a unique blend of qualities and roles that contribute to their distinctiveness. While the concept of "special" can be subjective, some common traits include courage, humor, leadership, and the ability to inspire others. Men also play a significant role in family and societal stability, often acting as providers and protectors.

Being a woman means being able to be powerful and assertive, yet kind at the same time. It means being compassionate and vulnerable towards those they love in their lives without feeling weak for doing so. It means striving for their goals even in the face of the adversity they may encounter along the way.
These 10 proven facts show that it’s great to be a woman.
1. Women Live Longer Lives Of all the people over 100 years old, 85% are women. Women live longer than men on average, about 5 to 10 years longer.
2. Women Have Stronger Immune Systems There is a microRNA on the X chromosomes in females that helps keep their immune systems nice and strong (stronger than that of men), which makes it difficult for all those germs and bacteria to make them sick.
3. Women Are Great Leaders According to business experts, women make great leaders for many reasons, a few of them being the tendency to be open to communication and collaboration.
4. Women Handle Stress Well Science shows that the estrogen in women’s bodies may help them handle stress very very well. Men tend to react with a fight or flight response, while women will “tend and befriend,” or reach out for social support.
5. Women Have A Great Capacity To Hold Onto Memories Women are great at recalling details from early on in their lives. This may be due to the way they learned to tell stories when we were younger. While they were learning to tell stories, they were also learning how to hang onto memories – fascinating!
6. Women Are Cleaner Experts reveal that women in general are known to be a bit cleaner than our male counterparts, but the reasoning may be a deep-seeded need to come off as clean, for fear of being judged for messiness.
7. Women Have Stronger Senses Women have a stronger sense of scent than their male counterparts: “New research shows that women have more cells in the olfactory bulb – the area of the brain that is dedicated to the sense of smell – than men.”

8. Women Are Great At Multitasking Men showed more expended energy when asked to multitask than women. This means that women can multitask more easily without expending so much mental energy.
9. Women Are More Financially Independent According to a survey conducted by Harris Poll in 2014, more men are still financially dependent on their parents than women are, and women are less likely to still live at home and depend on their parents.
In fact, women are better with money in general, as they are less likely to pile up credit card debt, more likely to save for retirement, and more likely to measure their investments carefully.
10. Women Have Stronger Hearts Women are less likely to develop cardiovascular issues than men are, and become at risk for them 10 years later, in their 70s and 80s, 10 to 20 years later than when men typically have to start worrying about them.
Did you know that science and data had so many reasons to support why it’s great to be a woman? It has also been clinically proven that women use much more toilet paper than men!
Take care!
