Together with payouts and target bonuses Palmeiras approaches record revenue to make millions at the World Cup.

GREENSBORO (USA) - Palmeiras secured 15.21 million dollars (R$84.2 million at the current exchange rate) for participating in the group stage of the World Cup. The amount could reach around R$120 million in the event of three wins in this stage of the competition. The total, however, does not yet take into account taxes, which will be paid by the club later.
In addition to the fixed amount, each win in the first stage guarantees two million dollars to the club's coffers, which does not include the potential revenue from the World Cup in the sports budget for the 2025 season.
Therefore, Palmeiras is on track to surpass for the second consecutive year, R$1 billion revenue mark — a figure already reached last season despite being eliminated in the 16th round of the Liberation Cup and Brazil Cup.
According to the budget forecast released by the club, the expectation is to reach a revenue of R$1.038 billion for the year with an estimated surplus of just over R$12 million. The amount reached R$1.2 billion in 2024.
Next Sunday 15 June, Palmeiras will make its debut in the Club World Cup against Porto, at the MetLife Stadium, in New Jersey. Four days later, it will return to the same stadium to face Al Ahly and, afterwards, it will travel to Florida, where it will face Inter Miami, with Lionel Messi.
Take care!
