Growing up as a lad was a pretty wild experience, especially as John’s learning curve was no different to anyone else’s. John was an average kid on the block trying to be part of the crowd. However, his parents would encourage him to think for himself (think outside of the box) and not follow the Joneses.

So much so that he was a bit of an outcast because he stayed on his own and kept to himself. However, in school he studied hard. Different to most kids, he realized it was up to him to exceed expectations. He took his studies home to revise. In other words, he made the effort to spend part of his free time doing revision. Apart from making sure he got his yearly grades; he found time to unwind by watching some good TV series and playing like any normal teenager. He even collected stamps and put them into his photo album. His main passion was technical drawing which allowed him to use his creative skills.
John was like other kids apart from taking life a little bit more seriously. In his final year of high school, he excelled in the final exams. This provided the backbone to applying for jobs and getting an offer. Afterall, employers realized this young man had a bright career. In the end after receiving several options of work, he chose a career in CAD design. He was a sucker for using his creative ability and wanted to put it to good use.
Growing up is the base for a young person’s future. John’s story could have been like many other youngsters. Unfortunately, there are many under privileged children who don’t have the same opportunities although education is a right for growing up individuals. A parent’s role is even more important. A child needs a solid foundation to progress and avoid difficulties that will occur regularly.
The complete package is complimentary for any child growing up; it starts at home, is part of good parenting, school placement, and ongoing support and advice during a child’s progression.
All the best,
