Three months into Ange Postecoglou’s triumphant start as football coach and manager at Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) and leading England’s Premiership League this season, his winning run had taken a summersault.
However, back on track Spurs end losing run as Kulusevski’s header frustrates Premier League champions in six-goal thriller yesterday, Sunday 3rd December.
After winning several games on the trot at the beginning of the season until the end of October, November began with a run of defeats. Spurs lost 1-4 at home against Chelsea on November 6th, then 2-1 away against Wolves on November 11th, and finally 1-2 at home against Aston Villa before facing Manchester City, the current top Premiership League club this Sunday. Their 3-3 draw away has given them some light.
Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou speaking to Sky Sports: "It was an entertaining game, plenty in it. We were lucky to be in it by half-time, City could have blown us away in that period, a bit similar to what happened to us against Aston Villa last week.”
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou failed to contain his anger with Brennan Johnson after Manchester City's second goal in Sunday's pulsating 3-3 draw. (See Mirror report)
