Somalian, Priti Patel, the suspect could have killed Sir David Amess by multiple stabbings. David, who is one of the good conservative politicians for thirty-nine years, was murdered at the Belfairs Methodist church in Leigh-On-Sea in Essex, England, last Friday.

Sir David, who was 69 years old had been an MP since 1983 and was married with five children. He is the second serving MP to be killed in the past five years.

There was no detail about the motivation for the attack but the chief constable of Essex police later said counterterrorism officers are leading the investigation which points towards terrorism but needs clarification.

Colleagues from across parliament expressed their shock and sorrow and paid tribute to Amess. He held regular meetings with voters on the first and third Fridays of the month. They said he was diligent in his duties to his local area.

In a tribute to Amess, Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom said the late MP was killed after “almost 40 years of continuous service to the people of Essex and the whole country”. Furthermore, “The reason people are so shocked and sad is above all he was one of the kindest, nicest, most gentle people in politics.”

“He also had an outstanding record of passing laws to help the most vulnerable, whether the people who are suffering from endometriosis, passing laws to end cruelty to animals, or doing a huge amount to reduce the fuel poverty suffered by people up and down the country.”

The 25 years old man, Priti Patel was quickly arrested after officers arrived at the scene on suspicion of the murder and a knife was recovered.
