Living in São Paulo is an exotic change from the cold and miserable weather of England. You could say that whereas the London climate is pretty wet and gloomy for nine months of the year, the opposite occurs in Brazil. It is sunnier while uplifting!
The agreeable ambience of a bustling city gives São Paulo a multicultural feel to it which is similar to London. Nevertheless, people in Brazil show a friendlier face. The Latins talk more freely and literally make you feel at home – home sweet home! The warm mood offsets loneliness and can only be described as an immediate connection “the kind money can’t buy”!
England is, however, a splendid country to be raised, as it has a vast history of Kings and Queens, with significant while prestigious events that have occurred over thousands of years. Those years of gained wisdom have turned many people into righteous citizens who treat fairness towards welfare and the prosperity of their nation.
The government incentive packages like free-schooling, National Health Services – NHS for free healthcare, and a robust whilst nondiscriminatory social services network looks after its people. Consequently, being part of such a high-status heritage is reassuring!
Living in London is a blast, so exploring while visiting is exciting and well worth exploiting. There are hidden treasures in London that you never knew existed. The night life is also great, but I suggest checking out the prices before venturing into restaurants, and nightclubs. If you are not careful you could get an unpleasant surprise when you check your expenses.
Many Brazilians have asked me during my almost thirty years stay in Brazil, what I’m doing here. They are taken aback as to how I could exchange London for São Paulo. There are too many reasons for my choice, but here are a few: weather, people, culinary delights, countryside, warmth, opportunity, etc.
If you are reading this and have never been to Brazil then make it a must do on your list of to do things, and vice-versa. You won’t be sorry!
